Strategy of tourism development for the city of Słupsk
Work on the strategy started in July 2008 and was completed in November 2008. The document was drawn up according to an author methodology.
As a part of the document landbrand consultants drew up an analysis of:
- The tourist attractiveness of the city and surrounding areas
- The city’s tourism infrastructure
- The SWOT analysis of tourism sector in Słupsk
- The current and target competitive position on the tourist map of the country
- The communication access and tourist segmentation
Also strategic guidelines:
- The missions, visions and strategic targets of tourism development in Słupsk
- The bunch of tourist products from Slupsk’s offer.
- The elements of place marketing: image, attraciveness, infrastructure, and human resources
- The results of the image research carried out in participation/cooperation with the research agency Synovate are also taken into account in the document.
