“Programme of tourist development in Łódzkie Region for 2007-2020”
“Programme of tourist development In Łódzkie Region for 2007-2020” was created by the Polish Agency of Tourism Development in Warsaw under a contact for the Department of Physical Education, Sport, and Tourism of the Marshall Office in Łódź.
The programme contains a description of conditions of a tourist region’s resources and SWOT analysis for cultural, natural, institutional, and marketing elements, taking into account their importance for tourism. The first part of the document is enriched by analysis of the image research for Łódzkie Region carried out under contract for PART SA by the global research company Synovate. Tourist diagnosis resulted in describing the main problems of the region that were a point of departure for the strategic part of the document. In the second part there are priority areas, system of evaluation and monitoring, sources for financing the programme and schedule of activities that are necessary to be undertaken in the region. The project spreads over the whole area of the Region.
