A promotion strategy for Sulejów community
Under contract of the Municipality in Sulejów, landbrand consultants drew up a promotion strategy for the Sulejów community. Realization of the strategic document was a point of departure for drawing up projects of brochures that promote the community.
Work on the strategy started in May and lasted until July 2008.
The strategy aims to show possibilities for a promotion of the Sulejów community, which is ranked as attractive for tourism as well as investment potential. The best preserved object of Cisterian legacy still inhabited by monks is found in the town of Sulejów. Areas around Sulejów Abbey were many times used as setting for movies. Here the famous movies “Potop” and “Janka” were shot. A Roman Minster is a place where festivals are held, like “Colours of Poland” as a part of the Itinerant Festival of Łódź Philharmonic. Moreover, two important cultural trails cross the community: the Cisterian trail and the Roman trail. Also the Sulejów Landscape Park with Pilica river and the Sulejowskie Lake – the biggest artificial lake in Central Poland is located within the community area. It is a perfect place for sailing, canoeing, hiking, and cycling.
As a part of the Project landbrand consultants drew up:
- The analysis of economic (administrative) and investment attractiveness
- The analysis of image and tourist attractiveness
- The updating of information on tourist base and attractions
- Tourist and investor offers ready for commercialization
- The positioning of the community on the tourist and investment map of Łódzkie Region
- The target tourist’s and investor’s profile
- Missions, visions, and promotional targets
- Guidelines for branding and visual identification system
