At its meeting on February 4, 2014 Hubert Gonera, landbrand managing director, presented to Mrs. Marshal Elizabeth Pole and other members of the board the main assumptions of the document , which has recently undergone changes after more than a month of public consultations. Dozens of organizationsreported more than 100 comments that have enriched the draft of the Programme adopted by the Board in November.

The document developed by our team consists of two parts: audit-analytical and programming . The first part gives a comprehensive diagnosis of the development of tourism in the region of Lubuskie Voivodeship, the second indicates the directions of development of the tourism economy in the next eight years. One of the main tasks of those implementing the document is to create 3 images of tourism products that will enable the region to stand out on the tourist map of Poland. These products are : Wine and Food, Military and Fortifications and Adventure on the water.

The other operational objectives identified in the document are: to build a competitive tourist image of the region, to create a comprehensive system of information and promotion of tourism, the development of tourism infrastructure, strengthening cooperation platform around tourism in the region, the development of cross-border tourism and the development of the leading forms of tourism. The program also includes a timetable for implementation and financing plan, which makes it a clear and comprehensive manual for the development of regional tourism.
